Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Povito website, the Povito app and shop websites on povito.com addresses, and when you buy through them. Please read them with our Shipping & Returns page and our Privacy Policy, which are part of these terms. By using Povito or placing an order, you accept these terms.

1. Who we are

Povito is run by Mesopo Agency, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq ("Povito", "we"). Povito serves Iraq only.

2. The marketplace

Povito is a marketplace: independent shops approved by Povito offer their products on it. Each product is sold by the shop named on its page, which is responsible for the product, its description and its delivery. Povito runs the website and app, takes your payment, handles cancellations, returns and refunds as described in these terms, and helps settle disagreements between you and a shop.

3. Your account

You sign in with your Iraqi mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and your codes to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. Give us accurate details, especially your phone number and delivery address. We may suspend or close an account used for fraud, abuse or in breach of these terms.

4. Prices and products

Prices are in Iraqi dinars and are set by each shop. The total shown at checkout, including any delivery charge (currently none), is what you pay. Shops try to describe products accurately and keep stock up to date; if a product turns out to be unavailable or its price was clearly wrong, the shop may cancel that part of your order and anything you paid for it is refunded.

5. Orders

Your order is placed when you complete checkout and receive an order number. If your basket holds products from several shops, each shop receives its own part. A shop may cancel its part if it cannot fulfil it; we tell you and refund anything you paid for it.

6. Payment

You can pay cash on delivery, by card through NassPay, or with ZainCash, as offered at checkout. Online payments are processed by Povito Checkout and the payment provider; their own terms may also apply. For cash on delivery, pay the person delivering your order the amount shown on your order.

7. Delivery, cancellations, returns and refunds

Delivery, cancellations, returns and refunds work as described on our Shipping & Returns page. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Iraqi consumer protection law.

8. Reviews, questions and other content

You may post reviews and questions about products you bought or are considering. Keep them honest, relevant and lawful: no insults, personal data of others, advertising or links. We may remove content that breaks these rules. By posting, you allow Povito to show your content on Povito.

9. Fair use

Do not misuse Povito: no fraud, false orders or false returns; no attempts to break into accounts or systems; no automated scraping or bulk collection of data; no interfering with how Povito works. We may cancel orders and suspend accounts involved in misuse.

10. Creators and promoted products

Some creators promote products on Povito and are paid when their link or code leads to a sale. Paid promotions are labelled. Using a creator's link or code does not change the price you pay unless the offer says so.

11. Povito Coins

Where Povito offers coins, you earn them as the rewards page describes and may spend them at checkout within the limits shown there. Coins have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and are given back or taken back when an order is refunded. We may freeze coins on accounts involved in abuse.

12. Our content

The Povito name, logo, design and software belong to Povito. Product names, photos and descriptions belong to the shops or their owners. You may not copy them for commercial use without permission.

13. Responsibility

We work to keep Povito available and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Povito is not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or that come from a shop's product beyond what these terms and the law provide. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes

We may change these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, applies to orders placed after that date.

15. Law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of Iraq. If you have a complaint, contact us first at support@povito.com or through Get help with this order, and we will try to resolve it with you.
